To encourage participation in our zine community, DSTL Arts offers mini-zine making workshops for youth (ages 16–21 only*) in partnership with various libraries throughout the East side and South Los Angeles. Youth participants get to learn firsthand from teaching artists the art of making zines. Plus, Art Block Mini-Zine workshop participants also get priority consideration when submitting to our biannual Art Block Zine publication!
Join us on Thursdays during after-school hours at a library near you. Come collage, draw, write poetry, or draw mini-comics with us, and walk away with a master copy of your next mini-zine!
